An accessible introduction to alternatives to Canada’s voting system.
About the project
This discussion paper modelled how five voting systems could work in Canada. Prepared for the House of Commons Special Committee on Electoral Reform, it included proof-of-concept electoral maps, ballots and plain-language explanations when no comparable public models were available.
My role
I was the lead author. Jesse Hitchcock edited the paper, drawing on related research by Matt Risser, Marla MacLeod and Angela Hersey.
